It’s ‘Top of the Class’ for T4EC
This innovative technology-in-education project will connect local businesses with London schools

Technology for Education and the Curriculum, T4EC, will bring 40 education and technology focused trade shows to London and its surrounding regions in a strategically targeted programme designed to bridge the digital divide between ICT and technology learning in schools and the education sector.

For local businesses engaged in education, and for the learning professions involved in ICT, T4EC is an exciting commercial proposition. The shows offer the perfect networking forum, ideal for building relationships with other product and service providers in this vertical market. Each of the 40 events is community focused, specifically designed to provide the local business district with a tailored, engaging and informative one-day trade show in easily accessible locations and venues, which will be offered free to the capital’s key decision makers within the education community.

An enrichment programme of integrated workshops, presentations and keynote speakers will offer educators the benefit of CPD accreditation as well as access to state-of-the-art technology based services and related products, in a relaxed and informal environment. The Department for Education, local government, MPs, Chambers of Commerce and celebrity alumni have already expressed support for the ambitious project, and a media campaign will be promoting the series.

The man behind T4EC is Casey Farquharson. His Ruislip based company has been providing technology solutions and advice to local schools and commercial organisations since 2006. “Schools and educational establishments have a clear need for effective technology information and provision for the classroom. With more than 5,000 educational establishments in the London region alone, I wanted to create a strategically designed local business environment for schools and educators to have easy, free access to an ‘on their doorstep’ event.

I want T4EC to become the ‘must see’ London exhibition for head teachers, bursars/business managers, ICT coordinators, IT managers, lecturers, educators, governors, administrators and tutors looking for a technology-in-education ‘one stop shop’.”

T4EC organisers welcome any London companies and businesses keen to be involved in this game-changing technology-for-education project. All 5,000 London based schools and educational establishments will be invited to the events, with an anticipated minimum audience of key decision makers from 50 educational establishments expected to attend each local show.

We look forward to welcoming you to a T4EC show very soon!
